Guiraud is one of the largest estates of Sauternes, 84.99 hectares planted with vines. The estate also produces a red wine with the Bordeaux superieur appellation and a dry white wine called "G". 1996: A very deep, evolved golden color, this wine shows brandied tangerine and orange blossom notes with hints of buttered, caramel, crème brulee, and roasted nuts. The wine is complex, quite rich after taste. 2000: A very sweet, medium-golden style with caramelized pineapples intermixed with some vanilla and crème caramel, this wine is full bodied with luscious fruits on palate lingering in finish.
