The style of the "new" Angelus is one that still emphasizes early drinkability, with intense, rich, supple and fruitiness. However, the wine is now much deeper colored and more concentrated, and it has more supportive tannins to help it age better. Certainly, the finest wines of the last three or four decades are profound.
